Choice of doctor
We will normally give you the choice of which doctor you wish to see. Sometimes it may not be possible for us to meet your needs and you may be offered an appointment with the other doctor.
We appreciate you contacting us if you need to cancel your appointment. This allows us the opportunity to reschedule the appointment for other patients.
Results, Recalls & Reminders
It is essential that you call the Practice Nurse for results of any tests that you have. The allocated time is from Monday-Friday 1:30pm-3:00pm. Please allow one week for the test to be processed, returned and checked by your doctor.
We also have a system of reminders for immunisations, health checks, care plan reviews and pap smears. Please let us know if you do not wish to participate in our reminder process.
Phone calls to the Doctor and Nurse
Our doctors do not take calls directly. A message can be left with Reception and the appropriate person will phone you back as soon as possible. Please assist our receptionists by providing as much information as possible so that the necessary action can be taken.
After Hours & Home Visits
If you require URGENT medical assistance or advice that cannot wait until the clinic is open, please contact the Royal Darwin Hospital Emergency Department on 8922 8888.
Home visits are available to existing patients who are unable to attend the practice. Arrangements can be made by calling the practice and will require prior approval from your doctor.
